Clearwater isn’t just about sunny beaches and stunning sunsets—it’s also home to some incredible breweries that deserve a spot on your radar. Having lived and worked in this area for a while, checking out the breweries in Clearwater quickly became one of my favorite things to do in.
From creative craft beers to chill taproom vibes, the breweries in Clearwater showcase the city’s love for bold flavors and good times. Whether you’re a hop enthusiast or new to the craft beer scene, get ready to sip your way through some must-visit spots!
Best Breweries in Clearwater
1. Big Storm Brewing Co.
Big Storm Brewery isn’t just a brewery—it’s a whole vibe! Their branding is so stunning, it’ll make even non-beer drinkers want to crack open a can. Their spacious patio (complete with 19 TVs) sets the scene for sipping favorites like Tropic Pressure Golden Ale or Bromosa Tangerine IPA.
Not into beer? Their raspberry lemonade cocktail is chef’s kiss. Pair it with their brisket, mac and cheese, or guava vinaigrette salad, and you’ve got a flavor-packed feast. Bonus: trivia Mondays and live music Fridays!
They have 4 locations throughout Florida, but their Clearwater taproom is their primary beer production facility.
2. 3 Daughters Tasting Room
You already know I was over the moon when one of my go-to breweries in downtown St. Pete opened a tasting room on Clearwater Beach!
At 3 Daughters Clearwater Beach, you can sip on their iconic brews, ciders, and seltzers while soaking in jaw-dropping 220-degree views of Pier 60 and Clearwater Harbor. The vibe is unmatched—delicious drinks, epic views, and a bit of playful nostalgia as you dominate your friends in classic board games. (Guess Who, anyone?!)
If you’re looking for breweries in Clearwater Beach, this is the only one! The other breweries are in the city. So this is the perfect spot to chill, sip, and soak in those beachy vibes!
3. Grindhaus Brew Lab
Grindhaus Brew Lab is a family-run Clearwater brewery serving up freshly handcrafted beers in unique beaker glasses! They specialize in small-batch brews, with experimental options debuting every Friday.
Fan favorites include the OH, BEEHIVE! cream ale with Florida orange blossom honey and the fruity, tart Berry the Past sour ale. Enjoy cult-classic movies in their Lab Theater on weekends, and while they only offer snacks, you’re welcome to bring your own food.
Pro tip: If you take your receipt from Grindhaus to Southern Lights Brewing Co. you get 50% off your first beer, and vice versa! They’re pretty close to each other so you may as well check them both out 😉

4. Southern Lights Brewing Co.
Southern Lights Brewing Co. is all about handcrafted small-batch ales and lagers, with an emphasis on quality and taste. Their cozy beer garden is perfect for sipping with your furry friend, while the indoor space has pinball machines, darts, and board games for endless fun.
