I lived in the Indian Rocks Beach area for years, and let me tell you—this little beach town is the best! There’s just something about grabbing a coffee from your favorite cafe and walking right across the street to the beach. And that’s exactly what you can do at every single one of these spots. If you’re looking for the best coffee shops in Indian Rocks Beach, here are my top picks!
Coffee Shops in Indian Rocks Beach
1. Grove Surf Cafe
This is my number one spot—no contest! Grove Surf Cafe is the cutest little beach cafe with both indoor and outdoor seating, the most delicious coffee and matcha (I always struggle deciding between them!), and amazing food.
Their baked goods are always the perfect compliment to the coffee—I love their coffee cake. And if you’re there around lunch, their chicken Caesar wrap is perfection (they even make the dressing in-house!).
I just adore this place. They also have another location in St. Pete Beach, which is just as great! Heads up, though—this place is popular, and parking is limited, so plan accordingly.
2. Pipo N Betty’s Bakery
If you love Joffrey’s Coffee (one of my favorites in Tampa), you’ll love Pipo N Betty’s! Their cold brew and cold foam combos are so good, and they have an extensive selection of baked goods.
There are a few spots to sit, but I personally love grabbing my coffee to-go and taking a walk on the beach. It’s right next door to Crabby’s, one of the best restaurants in Indian Rocks Beach, so it’s a great stop before or after a meal.
3. Indian Rocks Cafe
This cute little cafe has a relaxed vibe, serving breakfast, lunch, smoothies, pastries, and even a Boar’s Head deli. I enjoyed my coffee and bagel sandwich here, and it’s a solid choice if you’re in the area. That said, while it’s a good spot, the other coffee shops in Indian Rocks Beach on this list are more my faves!

4. Cafe de Paris Bakery
This place is always buzzing, and for good reason! Cafe de Paris Bakery has that cozy, Parisian-style charm, with sidewalk seating and a menu full of quiche, crêpes, and sweet treats. I kept it simple with a vanilla cappuccino, and it was delicious. The ham and cheese croissant was also great—I love that they press it!
5. Indian Shores Coffee
A little further down in Indian Shores, is Indian Shores Coffee. It’s a warm, funky cafe that has a garden patio and serves organic coffee and light bites with gluten-free options. They were heavily affected by the 2024 hurricanes and have since redone the entire place—I haven’t been back since the renovations, but I know their coffee is still just as amazing.
Which of these Indian Rocks Beach coffee shops are you checking out first?!
If you’re looking for the best coffee shops in Indian Rocks Beach, these are my top picks! Whether you’re craving a strong cold brew, a cozy cappuccino, or a quick bite, there’s a spot for you. And the best part? You can grab your drink and be on the beach within seconds. Nothing beats that beachy, laid-back morning vibe with a coffee in hand! Which one are you most excited to try?
