Coral Cove Park
Nestled along Jupiter’s coastline, Coral Cove Park is calling your name if you’re a nature enthusiast or beach lover. With its picturesque limestone rocks framing turquoise waters, it’s a paradise for photographers seeking Instagram-worthy shots.
Beyond its stunning beauty, it’s a perfect spot for relaxing at the beach or a family fun day in the sun. Coral Cove Park offers opportunities for snorkeling, swimming, and exploring tide pools teeming with marine life, so bring your snorkel gear! The waves can get pretty big some days (compared to what I’m used to on Florida’s West Coast), so be aware of signage and warnings for riptides.
Blowing Rocks Preserve
Something you will undoubtedly find on everyone’s list of things to do in Jupiter is Blowing Rocks Preserve. It’s a natural spectacle where the ocean meets a rocky Anastasia limestone shoreline, creating dramatic geysers of seawater that can reach impressive heights.
To see it at its best try and time your visit with high tide! The preserve also has a Nature Conservancy and serene walking trails.
I visited this natural wonder twice within a month, and there was a huge difference. Due to natural processes, much of the coral and rocks were covered during my second visit, highlighting the dynamic and ever-changing nature of this preserve. If possible, check the current conditions before planning your trip to ensure you catch the mesmerizing display of waves crashing against the rocks.
Dubois Park
Located at the mouth of the Jupiter Inlet, Dubois Park is a family favorite! It offers calm swimming areas, snorkeling spots, and picnicking facilities. Not to mention some pretty stunning views, especially for sunset!
The park’s lagoon is a safe and enjoyable environment for swimmers of all ages, and its historic features like the Dubois Pioneer Home provide a glimpse into the area’s past.
I was a little nervous to snorkel around Coral Cove Park because the waves were bigger than I would have liked, so I enjoyed Dubois Park as a calmer option.

At the Loggerhead Marine Life Center, you can get an up-close look at one of Florida’s most beloved creatures—the sea turtle! The center is a conservation hub dedicated to protecting these majestic creatures.
During the nesting season (in the summer), you can even witness the wonder of sea turtle hatchlings making their way to the ocean, an unforgettable experience, and one of the more unique things to do in Jupiter!
The center also offers educational programs, interactive exhibits, and guided tours, providing insights into marine conservation efforts and the importance of preserving coastal ecosystems.
Riverbend Park
Riverbend Park is an escape into the wilds of Florida! This is one of my favorite things to do in Jupiter, and I honestly wish we had even more time to explore all of the stunning trails this park offers.
It’s nestled along the Loxahatchee River and has miles of tranquil walking, biking, and equestrian trails that meander through diverse habitats. You can also canoe or kayak on the Loxahatchee River and immerse yourself even more in the serene beauty of the park’s lush surroundings.
Cato’s Bridge
Cato’s Bridge is a popular spot for boaters and water enthusiasts looking for relaxation and adventure. Parking can be challenging due to limited space, especially on weekends, but the area’s charm makes it worth the effort. We ended up finding a spot to park near the lighthouse and just had a short walk ahead of us.
Soak in the scenic views, and even enjoy some snorkeling near the bridge. Arrive early to secure a spot. You can definitely tell this is a local’s favorite hangout!
Check out a local coffee shop
If you know anything about me, you know I’m going to be checking out as many local coffee shops as I can during my trips! I mean what better way to fuel our adventures, right?
Subculture Coffee was one of my faves. It had a really cool vibe, was within walking distance from our hotel (Wyndham Grand Jupiter), and the coffee was delish! Perk Coffee House was my absolute favorite with its marshmallow caramel cold brew topped with cold foam— I returned multiple times for this one!
Carlin Park
If you’re looking for a fun day outdoors, Carlin Park has got your back! It’s like the ultimate hangout spot with everything you need for a good time. Sandy beaches perfect for a tan session, picnic spots for hanging with friends or family, and even playgrounds, volleyball courts, and tennis courts if you’re feeling playful.
It even has a walking trail with ocean views. It’s basically a recipe for a fun-filled day in Jupiter!
Busch Wildlife Sanctuary
Ever wondered what it’s like to hang out with Florida’s wild side? Busch Wildlife Sanctuary is your backstage pass. This Jupiter activity is a unique blend of a nature center and a wildlife hospital.
You can wander the trails and encounter native animals such as panthers, bears, and alligators in naturalistic habitats. They also have educational programs and the chance to witness wildlife rehabilitation efforts firsthand.
While this is technically a free thing to do in Jupiter, they do suggest and appreciate donations to support their operational costs!
Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum
The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum stands as a beacon of maritime history and offers breathtaking panoramic views if you choose to climb its spiral staircase. At the museum, you can delve into over 5,000 years of history surrounding the Jupiter Inlet, and the lighthouse itself!
The beautiful surrounding nature preserve adds an element of adventure to the rich historical experience. Aside from the lighthouse, one of my favorite parts was the Ficus altissima tree. It was planted in 1935 as a tribute to the Keepers who once called this place home.
It’s truly wild because this single tree looks like a cluster of several trees combined! The beautiful deck surrounding it offers a glimpse into the past, showcasing the original location of the house, veranda, and even the 3500-gallon cistern that provided their water supply. It’s a fascinating piece of history and a must-see during your visit.
Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for children 6-18.
Juno Beach Pier
Juno Beach Pier extends gracefully into the Atlantic, providing a serene fishing spot or stunning views for sightseers. As you walk along the pier, you can indulge in views, witness fishermen at work, and maybe even spot some dolphins. The beach area is also a renowned nesting ground for sea turtles.
We went around sunset and caught the most stunning views! And even some cool shots underneath the pier.
Grab ice cream from Cones & Coffee
Treat your taste buds to Coral Cones ice cream at Cones & Coffee. With so many amazing flavors to choose from, it’s a challenge to pick just one (so we got two!). If you have a sweet tooth, you’re not going to want to miss this spot. It’s a Jupiter staple.
They also serve Pumphouse coffee if you need more of a caffeine fix!
Visit Abacoa
Abacoa is a quaint neighborhood that comes alive, especially at night. Check out some of its lively spots with live music, awesome breweries, or catch a spring training game. Don’t miss out on Civil Society Brewing Company and Das Beer Garden for a taste of local brews and lively ambiance. We didn’t come hungry, but it looked like they had a great selection of restaurants too!
You can even grab a beer from one spot and carry it around the Abacoa area.
Take a day trip to Palm Beach and West Palm Beach
If you have time, take a day trip over to Palm Beach and West Palm Beach! They are about a 20-30-minute drive from Jupiter. Once you arrive, get ready for a vibe that’s equal parts posh and laid-back, with a sprinkle of coastal charm that’ll make you feel like you’re in a fancy beach movie!
Here are some things to check out while you’re in the area:
- Clock Tower— Grab a pic of the iconic Clock Tower, a landmark that screams “Palm Beach!” It’s like stepping into a postcard picture of Florida’s classic elegance.
- Worth Ave— Shopaholics, this one’s for you! Worth Ave is like the Rodeo Drive of the East Coast, with designer boutiques and chic cafes lining the palm tree-filled streets. While you’re here, pop into Raptis Rare Books which I thought was such a cool place for book lovers!
- The Colony Hotel— Stop by The Colony Hotel for a drink and soak in the retro-chic vibes. It’s a quintessential Palm Beach experience that’ll transport you back to the glamorous days of old Florida.

Grab some local eats
Feasting on fresh seafood at some of the best restaurants in Jupiter is a must! U-Tiki Beach is one of my top picks for its amazing fish tacos and fresh tuna. The laid-back vibes transport you straight into vacation mode, making it the perfect lunch or dinner spot.
I know it’s hit or miss, but I also really enjoyed Guanabanas. They had great food and drinks, all at great price points. Not to mention the vibes here are super fun and tropical. By day it’s a tropical oasis, and by night you can make your way to the lively dance floor.
You also HAVE to stop by Blackbird for some amazing Asian food and one of the best happy hours in Jupiter! This place is such a vibe, it actually reminded me of some of the restaurants we enjoyed in Bogota, Colombia!
Where to stay in Jupiter, Florida
When it comes to choosing where to stay in Jupiter, you’ll find a handful of options to suit your style and budget. However, after my recent stay, I can’t recommend Wyndham Grand Jupiter enough! This stunning Jupiter hotel offers an experience that’s hard to beat, from its luxurious amenities to its prime location near Jupiter’s top attractions.
At Wyndham Grand Jupiter, you’ll discover a stay that’s nothing short of amazing. The rooftop pool is a slice of paradise where relaxation kicks in instantly. The cocktails, especially Mark’s mezcalitas at the lobby bar, are the perfect treat that adds to the vacation vibes. The rooms were spacious and comfortable.
What sets the Wyndham Grand apart is not just the amenities but the warm hospitality of the staff. They made us feel right at home the moment we stepped through the doors. Plus, the convenience of room access with wristband keys makes life a breeze, especially for those prone to forgetfulness (ahem, me).
The prime location is the cherry on top, with easy access to fantastic spots like Subculture Coffee, Pura Vida, Calaveras Cantina, and Mana Greek Fusion. And let’s not forget about breakfast—the buttermilk pancakes and bacon are a must-try, earning a solid 12/10 rating from me.
