Things to Do in Jupiter, Florida
1. Coral Cove Park
Coral Cove Park is a gem along the coastline that’s like stepping into a postcard with its gorgeous limestone rocks framing those dreamy turquoise waters!
It’s not just a pretty face, though. Coral Cove is the perfect place to kick back, relax, and soak up the sun. Whether you’re snorkeling, swimming, or exploring the tide pools filled with marine life, there’s never a dull moment.
Just a heads up—the waves can be a bit bigger than what I’m used to on the West Coast of Florida, so be sure to keep an eye out for any riptide warnings.
2. Blowing Rocks Preserve
Something you will undoubtedly find on everyone’s list of things to do in Jupiter is Blowing Rocks Preserve. It’s a natural spectacle where the ocean meets a rocky Anastasia limestone shoreline, creating dramatic geysers of seawater that can reach impressive heights. Seriously, it’s nature’s fireworks!
For the best show, try to time your visit with high tide! The preserve also has a Nature Conservancy and some walking trails—perfect for soaking in the whole scene.
I ended up visiting twice within a month, and it was such a different experience the second time around. Much of the coral and rocks were covered due to natural processes, making it a reminder of just how dynamic and ever-changing this beautiful spot is. If you can, check the current conditions before you go to make sure you catch the waves putting on their best performance!
3. Dubois Park
Located right at the mouth of the Jupiter Inlet, Dubois Park has everything you could want for a perfect day outdoors. It has calm swimming areas, snorkeling spots, and picnicking facilities. Not to mention some pretty stunning views, especially for sunset!
The park’s lagoon is great for swimmers of all ages, offering a safe, relaxing place to splash around. Plus, if you’re into history, don’t miss the Dubois Pioneer Home—it’s a charming peek into the area’s past.
I’ll be honest, I was a bit nervous to snorkel at Coral Cove Park because the waves were a little too wild for my liking, so Dubois Park became my go-to for a calmer, more peaceful underwater adventure. Trust me, you’ll love it!
4. Clear Kayak Tour
Ready to see Jupiter’s breathtaking waters in a whole new way? A clear kayak tour is an absolute must! Paddle through the crystal-clear waters and get a unique perspective of the underwater world.
You’ll be surrounded by vibrant marine life, and if you’re lucky, some manatees or dolphins might make an appearance! It’s such a cool way to experience the area’s natural beauty, and the expert guides will teach you all about the local ecology and conservation efforts.

If you’re a sea turtle lover (or just a fan of adorable creatures), the Loggerhead Marine Life Center will steal your heart. This conservation hub is dedicated to protecting sea turtles, and you can get an up-close look at these majestic creatures.
If you’re visiting during nesting season, you might even get to see baby sea turtles making their way to the ocean—one of the most unique things to do in Jupiter! The center also has interactive exhibits and guided tours, so you can learn all about the importance of preserving coastal ecosystems.
6. Riverbend Park
Nestled along the Loxahatchee River, Riverbend Park has miles of peaceful trails perfect for walking, biking, or horseback riding. You can also canoe or kayak along the river and really soak in the lush, tranquil surroundings.
It’s one of those places where you can completely unwind, connect with nature, and forget the world for a bit. Trust me, you’ll be so glad you took the time to explore this hidden gem! This is one of my favorite things to do in Jupiter, and I honestly wish we had even more time to explore all of the stunning trails this park offers.
7. Cato’s Bridge
Cato’s Bridge is the perfect spot for a mix of adventure and relaxation! It has picturesque views and a peaceful vibe. It’s a great spot for boaters and snorkeling.
Parking can be a bit tricky, especially on weekends, so be prepared to get there early—unless you’re lucky enough to snag a spot by the lighthouse, like we did! It’s definitely a local hangout, and I can see why! The views alone are worth the effort.
8. Check Out a Local Coffee Shop
I can’t help myself—I’m all about finding the best local coffee spots wherever I go, and Jupiter did not disappoint! Subculture Coffee was a favorite, with its cool vibe and amazing coffee. Plus, it was just a short walk from our hotel (Wyndham Grand Jupiter), so it was the perfect stop to fuel up for the day.
But let’s be real, the star of the show was Perk Coffee House. Their marshmallow caramel cold brew topped with cold foam had me hooked, and I had to return more than once to get my fix!
9. Carlin Park
When you’re in the mood for a fun day outdoors, Carlin Park has everything you need. Whether you’re looking to chill on the beach, pack a picnic, or get active with volleyball or tennis, this park has it all.
Plus, the walking trail with ocean views is perfect for a peaceful stroll. It’s an awesome spot to just soak in the sunshine and enjoy the outdoors!
10. Busch Wildlife Sanctuary
For something a little more wild, head to Busch Wildlife Sanctuary! This isn’t your average zoo—it’s a nature center and wildlife hospital, where you can learn about Florida’s native animals and witness some of them up close.
Panthers, bears, alligators—you name it! The sanctuary also offers educational programs and a chance to see wildlife rehabilitation in action. Best of all, it’s technically free to visit, though donations are appreciated to help keep everything running.
11. Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum
The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum is one of the most iconic things to do in Jupiter. It’s a beacon of maritime history and offers breathtaking panoramic views if you choose to climb its spiral staircase. The museum itself is packed with over 5,000 years of history surrounding the lighthouse and the surrounding inlet.
Aside from the lighthouse, one of my favorite parts was the Ficus altissima tree. It was planted in 1935 as a tribute to the Keepers who once called this place home.
It’s truly wild because this single tree looks like a cluster of several trees combined! The beautiful deck surrounding it offers a glimpse into the past, showcasing the original location of the house, veranda, and even the 3500-gallon cistern that provided their water supply. It’s a fascinating piece of history and a must-see during your visit.
Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for kids ages 6-18.
12. Juno Beach Pier
Juno Beach Pier is the perfect place to soak in the sights and enjoy the beach vibes. It extends right into the Atlantic, offering up some serene fishing spots and plenty of space to take in the views.
We visited around sunset, and the views were next level! We even snagged some cool shots under the pier. It’s not just a great spot for sightseeing; it’s also a sea turtle nesting ground, which makes it even more special. If you’re lucky, you might even spot dolphins while you’re out there!
13. Ice Cream From Cones & Coffee
Got a sweet tooth? You have to stop by Cones & Coffee and treat yourself to some of the best ice cream in town! With so many flavors to choose from, it’s tough to pick just one (so we got two, obviously!).
Coral Cones ice cream is a Jupiter staple, and I can see why—it’s so delicious! If you’re still in need of that caffeine fix, they also serve Pumphouse coffee, so you’re covered for both your sweet cravings and your caffeine needs.
14. Visit Abacoa
Abacoa is the neighborhood that comes alive when the sun goes down! If you’re looking for some lively spots to grab a drink, catch live music, or even check out a spring training game, Abacoa has it all.
Civil Society Brewing Company and Das Beer Garden are the perfect places to sip on some local brews and enjoy the fun atmosphere. We weren’t hungry when we went, but the restaurants in the area looked pretty tempting, too!
You can even grab a beer from one spot and carry it around the Abacoa area.
15. Day Trip to Palm Beach + West Palm Beach
If you have time, take a day trip over to Palm Beach and West Palm Beach! They are about a 20-30-minute drive from Jupiter. Once you arrive, get ready for a vibe that’s equal parts posh and laid-back, with a sprinkle of coastal charm that’ll make you feel like you’re in a fancy beach movie!
Here are some things to check out while you’re in the area:
- Clock Tower— Grab a pic of the iconic Clock Tower, a landmark that screams “Palm Beach!” It’s like stepping into a postcard picture of Florida’s classic elegance.
- Worth Ave— Shopaholics, this one’s for you! Worth Ave is like the Rodeo Drive of the East Coast, with designer boutiques and chic cafes lining the palm tree-filled streets. While you’re here, pop into Raptis Rare Books which I thought was such a cool place for book lovers!
- The Colony Hotel— Stop by The Colony Hotel for a drink and soak in the retro-chic vibes. It’s a quintessential Palm Beach experience that’ll transport you back to the glamorous days of old Florida.
- The Breakers— You can’t visit Palm Beach without seeing The Breakers! This historic hotel is a must-see, whether you’re strolling through its grand halls or lounging by the pool like a VIP.
- Peanut Island— For a fun outdoor adventure, hop on a boat to Peanut Island! This hidden gem offers snorkeling, picnicking, and stunning views of the surrounding waters. It’s a local favorite for a reason! Check out this Peanut Island snorkeling tour.
- The Hive Bakery and Cafe— Fuel up for your adventures with coffee and breakfast at The Hive, a local hotspot known for its cozy atmosphere and delicious bites. It’s the perfect start to your day in West Palm Beach!
16. Grab Some Local Eats
If you’re in Jupiter, diving into some fresh seafood is an absolute must! Here are some of the best restaurants in Jupiter to visit:
- U-Tiki Beach – Known for its amazing fish tacos and fresh tuna, this spot delivers laid-back vacation vibes that make it perfect for lunch with a view or a sunset dinner.
- Guanabanas – This tropical gem offers delicious food, great drinks, and reasonable prices. By day, it’s a lush oasis, and by night, it turns into a lively hangout with a dance floor that’s hard to resist.
- Blackbird – With Asian-inspired dishes and one of the best happy hours in Jupiter, this spot is a must-visit. The chic and trendy ambiance reminded me of some incredible restaurants in Bogota, Colombia.
