2. Madame Fortune Dessert + HiFi Parlour

Tucked behind a secret door inside Roast on 7th, Madame Fortune Dessert + HiFi Parlour is one of the most unique bars in Ybor City! It’s the perfect hidden gem if you’re looking for something different.

This speakeasy has cocktails that are crafted to perfection, always. If you’re hungry they even serve up delicious dishes that should definitely earn a place on the top Ybor City restaurants. The lemon pepper honey turkey flats and the lemon blueberry icebox cake are absolute showstoppers!

To make things even more exciting, they keep things hush-hush with a secret password that changes weekly—be sure to check Instagram for the latest.

3. Tangra

If you’re looking for a high-energy night out, Tangra is your place. This dance club has it all—three levels of entertainment, with a mix of EDM, Latin beats, and Top 40 tracks that’ll keep you dancing all night long. Whether you’re in the main club, the lounge, or soaking in the vibes on the rooftop, there’s always something happening.

The vibe is eccentric, lively, and totally unforgettable!

4. Saddlebags

For a change of pace, Saddlebags brings country charm to Ybor City. If you’re in the mood for line dancing (or want to learn), this Tampa country bar is your spot. With free line-dancing classes every Friday night, it’s the perfect place to pick up some new moves or show off the ones you already know.

If you’re feeling extra adventurous, take a spin on the mechanical bull—it’s always a good time!

5. Coyote Ugly

Coyote Ugly is another one of the most lively bars in Ybor City. It brings all the fun and wild energy that the brand is known for. With female bartenders, bartop dancing, and plenty of body shots, it’s a classic party spot.

It’s one of those places where the vibe is always high-energy and full of laughter. They’ve got awesome weekly specials like Thirsty Thursday’s $16 fishbowl and Super Tuesdays with free beer pitchers. It’s not uncommon you’ll see bachelorette parties, a birthday crew, or girls just trying to have fun here enjoying dancing on the bar (guilty!).

6. Bad Monkey

Bad Monkey is a cool vibe. The military-themed decor sets the tone, and you can’t miss the full-sized P-40 Warhawk crashing through the overhead wall—talk about a statement piece! The patio space is perfect for hanging out with friends, watching the latest game on the big screens, and enjoying the great happy hour deals.

They have games like darts and shuffleboard, so I always like to use this Ybor bar as a place to start my pregame at, before heading to some places I can dance.

7. The Ritz

If you’re a fan of EDM, The Ritz should be on your radar! This historic venue regularly hosts big DJs and artists, making it one of the best places to catch an amazing show in Ybor.

Tickets are required for most events, so be sure to grab them online beforehand. If you’re in the mood to party, “Mischief Mondays” with their BOGO bottle specials and $5 drinks are always a good time. The energy on “Pound Fridays,” when EDM artists hit the stage, is electric!

Going to the DJ shows is one of my favorite things to do in Ybor!

Looking for a chill spot with craft cocktails and delicious bites? The Copper Shaker is where it’s at! This locally owned gem has some of the best cocktails in Ybor City. Whether you’re sipping on the espresso-infused “The Grind” or enjoying a smoky rye whiskey cocktail like “Smokestack,” their menu has something for every taste.

Oh, and don’t miss their happy hour, which runs every day until 7 PM with $6 drinks and food specials. They also have another location which just so happens to be one of my favorite bars in downtown St. Pete.

9. The Castle

Keeping it real, I haven’t been to The Castle yet! But it’s 100% on my Tampa bucket list. With multiple levels, it’s a place where you can dress however you want—whether you’re into goth fashion or your favorite clubwear, everyone’s welcome.

The vibe is super inclusive, and on Friday and Saturday nights, you’ll find plenty of people dancing and letting loose. It’s a fun spot that’s all about letting your hair down and enjoying the music, no matter your style.

10. SpookEasy Lounge

Okay, SpookEasy Lounge is a little different, but that’s what makes it so fun! It’s technically an alcohol-free spot (though you can find some boozy options downstairs in The Catacombs), but the whole vibe is totally unique.

This haunted kava bar is decked out in spooky decor that makes it feel like Halloween year-round, and I loved every minute of it. If you’re a fan of kava, tea, kombucha, or just quirky places, you’ll want to check it out.

I personally went for a kombucha, and Remi couldn’t get enough of the necrocider! Whether you’re a kava lover or just in the mood for something different, SpookEasy Lounge will definitely give you a memorable night out in Ybor.

11. Crowbar

Crowbar is where the edgier side of Ybor City comes alive! This nightclub and beer garden is a fan favorite, especially for those into the metal scene, but don’t let that fool you—Crowbar hosts bands of all genres, so there’s something for everyone.
